You're not the only one to have said that. Getting it in the ear from Mrs Mottie too! Here's another work in progress pic:
I can see why it was cheap!View attachment 264300I bought this an hour ago in Sainsbury's, yum yum.
This brand is caught with hooks and line.I can see why it was cheap!
Netted not line caught.
Netting catches Dolphins along with Tuna.
M&S was my first choice. I bought one there but the cuffs didn't even come out of the jacket sleeve so had to take that back too. TM Lewin couldn't help me so no joy there either. Tried all the High Street retailers and even Jack Bunneys, my local gentleman's outfitters but they didn't sell shirts - hand made ones only but again, a 6-8 week wait. The only formal white dress shirts with French cuffs I have are my cruise shirts. Arms are correct length but collar either a wing tip or size 17" neck which is too tight for my fat post-lockdown neck! One good thing, I tried my black tie cruise suit on, too tight so that went to the charity shop along with two other suits that had shrunk in the wardrobe. I should have got my arse into gear quicker!M&S do a selection of sleeve lengths, and collar shapes, though I don't usually buy there. I have seen it in their white "luxury" shirts. The twill shirts are a heavier fabric with a softer drape than poplin.
The body fittings are in vanity sizes. E.g. regular is fat, tailored is portly, slim is not slim. The chest size is in the back of the pack.
I believe they have mail order
P.s.
The "luxury" range seems to have been replaced by "sartorial" and remaindered stock is on Ebay.
Lewin is comparable to Tyrwhitt.
According to the calculator and my measurements this is the size I have ordered. Actually just had a text confirming delivery date of 21/3.What shoulder-seam to cuff length?
