No. We only ever have oven chips. Just thought I’d try some real potatoes in it. Never again!

Try air frying your veg. Cut carrots, potatoes, courgettes, parsnips into similar sized chunks. Tumble in a bowl with 1-2tbsp of olive oil. Airfry @200c for 15mins, shake the tray & air fry another 5mins.

Try that & you'll never boil your veg ever again.

Chips. Tumble 'em in a little hot beef dripping, air fry 7mins @200c, shake the tray, air fry another 7mins.

Cut your potatoe into 'roastie' sized chunks, maybe air fry a little longer . . . . .

Butter a slice of bread (some advise buttering both sides), use back of a spoon to create a depression in middle of slice. Place slice into tray & crack an egg into the depression, sprinkle grated cheese over the top. Splash Worcester sauce liberally. Lay rasher of bacon at side & fill any remaining space with sauages. Air fry 9mins @200c.

If/when you get bored of that try adding a few mushrooms & tomatoes . . . . .

Bacon butties. Aldi do excellent bacon in a 1kg pack. I split the pack & bung half in the freezer for later.

Don't add any oil. Air fry @200c for 9-10mins & check. Mrs Lard likes hers more crispy so hers gets another 2-3mins.

NO white SCUM ! Try splashing a little Worcester sauce or even red/brown on it before frying . . . .

Hark, the air fryer King has spoken. :ROFLMAO:
Don't get me started on kebab skewers . . . . .

Onion, beef, pineapple, pepper, beef, onion, halloumi, pepper, beef, onion . . . . . . I can fit 6 in mine.

I don't make any kind of chips in the house. I like them but, I can't be bothered making them. If I want chips, I buy them from the chippy or the Chinese.

Weirdly, I only like chip shop chips if I’m eating them with a chip shop pie or chip shop fish. I couldn’t for example, have chip shop chips with ham, egg and beans. Out of interest, how much do you pay and how long does it take to get them? Will probably take me at least 10-12 mins to get there and back assuming there’s no queue and they charge £4.90 for a medium portion and £6.45 for a large portion. 'Kin ell!

It takes me ten to fifteen minutes to get them and they are £3.00 for a small bagg and £3.50 for a large bag.
I usually get them when I am on my way home from wherever so, I don't usually go out for them.

I'm the same. Do people in Essexshire eat chip butties? That's the other way I like my chip shop chips. Chips in a teacake, lots of salt, then soaked in chip shop vinegar (non-brewed condiment).
