So did I. Used to get them from Woollies if I remember, but got these on line. I assumed they'd come with adhesive, but just got the soles! Thought I'd have to buy the right adhesive online, but from the description it was just regular contact adhesive, which I already had. So used that and they've been OK. I'd got attached to this pair of shoes so be sad to bin them.I bought some a few weeks ago!
They didn't stick

OK, I stand corrected, thanks. It's much the same stuff though.Ajax and Vim are two different products produced by two separate companies.

I still use Vim (which was previously known as Ajax). It's hard to get now, but it can sometimes be found on market stalls or in small town hardware shops.
, and both bars on
Poetry in prose.I sometimes wonder where Norman is now. Probably wintering with his mother in Guildford. A cat, rain, Vim under the sink, and both bars on. But old now, old. There can be no true beauty without decay.
I thought I might get that, but thanks anywayThat will be the glue.
Do you remember which shop? One of the pound shops sells a wonderful flexible adhesive, for the likes of shoes. I repaired a few pairs of favourites with it. Comes (from memory) in a white, red and yellow toothpaste type tube.
Do you remember which shop?
I saw Gorilla adhesive in Tesco which I might get if the soles come off again. The blurb on the tube sounds good but could be marketing hype.
