tbh these days it's more a case of what doesn't annoy me

lol. We have an old boy over the allotment who starts every story with "I won’t bore you…" and then proceeds to do just that. He's lonely though so I let him get on with it.Old codgers who think they're interesting and their life stories are fascinating just because they've been around a long time. They'll tell anyone who pauses long enough every painfully dull detail of their life to anyone younger who they can catch long enough. Especially bar staff, waiters/esses, healthcare workers, etc, etc - ie, poor sods who are paid to be polite/pleasant and are too polite to ignore them.
I know we're supposed to respect our elders, but oldies, please don't impose endless banal chatter because you are lonely on poor staff who are trapped and have to feign interest. They really couldn't give a tozz that your gout is painful today and your wife died exactly 18 years ago.
Correct.Talking to people that have had to much to drink
Correct.
It's as bad as trying to wade through bad spelling and grammar.

I did just that when someone paid and had their son collect a laser tracking tool from me. I gave it to him piece by piece explaining what each piece was for - and I had that on cctv. I left good feedback, quick payer and collector etc. Two days later the buyer then left me negative feedback saying that parts were missing and asking for a refund. I refused, eBay sided with them and told me to pay them back. I told eBay to F off and reminded them of their own rules (no claims accepted for 'not as described' if collected - only if posted). They backed down. In the end they gave him two weeks to bring the tool back to me and they would refund him themselves and let me keep the tool. The lazy git didn’t bother to return it so they closed the case and removed his negative feedback.Automatic eBay feedback. If I buy something, as soon as I've paid, which I always do immediately, the seller should leave me feedback. I've done my part, there's nothing more I can do.
Instead, I get reminders from eBay prodding me to leave feedback for the seller, who is waiting for me to leave good feedback, when in actual fact, they should have left the buyer (me) feedback days ago.
