Which toaster?

Got a three slice Dualitt which was expensive but had it for 15 years with no problems, so probably better than buying a cheap one every year or so.

N.B. if you buy a cheap one from Asda, keep the receipt and guarantee in a safe place, i usually put the receipt in the box and stack it on a shelf in the garage, then i know where they are when needed.

Must be the red. You can get the same one for £25 but in blue. That's a very expensive tin of red.

You could buy this: https://www.pricelover.com/product/...ettle_and_2_Slice_Toaster_/FCL7RD12_FCL8RD28/

and sell the kettle for a similar price too!

I had the predecessor to this one and it's great. Still going strong & sub £20.

The slots are made (as a lot of toasters are these days) for squareish loaves, so are not very deep. Warburton Wholemeal, for example, I begin toasting upright for about 45 seconds, until it shrinks a little. Then I lie it on its side and carry on toasting.
