No. The Labour party, like the LimpDems, seems to have shot itself in the foot....but it wasn't Cameron's party who lost seats to the SNP.
A hundred years ago the new Labour party was a necessary answer to worker exploitation. Since then, however, two things have happened:
- workers are now much less exploited (if at all) due to the introduction of laws to protect them;
- there are far fewer workers now in the UK!
Perhaps we've seen the last of them. Perhaps we need a different sort of opposition...
