The aerial receives a radiowave, that is converted into an electrical source...so plug in the connector, electrical to earth, there is a spark of electricity. Hold onto a radiator while doing this, you are grounded, you get a shock. I think it's less than .6ma? Like getting out of a car while wearing nylon clothing? When closing the door, you get a shock.
This is the reason I no longer wear nylon tights when driving.
