Why is my microware oven making this loud noise?

I've a counter-top Microwave oven that's cooking perfectly well, but makes a very loud 'humming' sound whilst doing so.
Can anyone help identify the fault from the actual sound? (link to the mp3 sound file Recording of Humming Sound).

I've read online that it's likely to be a fault with either the Magnetron itself, or the (rectifying?) Diode (even though, I wouldn't have expected it to still cook if that were the case). Unfortunately, I haven't been able to find any actual sound files of what each fault actually sounds like.

I've attached a link to a recording of the actual loud 'humming' my microwave is making (whilst cooking) above.
Can anyone confidently distinguish between whether this is likely to be the Magnetron, or the Diode, or something else?

And is there any definitive electrical test I can then do on the component to confirm it's at fault? [Merely checking continuity won't be adequate, as it's clearly functioning to some degree?]

Many thanks. I prefer to repair, rather than re-purchase, whenever I can.

It's also better for us, if you posted a video (with the sound!), on YouTube, rather than having to download a potentially suspicious file! :)

I cannot get to the file, to listen to it, but....

If it's doing what it's supposed to be doing, then all must be OK with it. The humming could be lose transformer laminations, or the metal case vibrating. Nowt you can do about the first, without major work stripping it out, and revarnishing, but the latter, might just be a matter of repositioning, or tightening case screws..

could also be something as simple as vibrations being amplified by boards or other surface
so make sure its not touching anything other than via the feet
try leaning on the worktop or holding the shelve if its on one whilst operating to see if the tone or volume changes

Thanks everyone. Big-All - you might well be correct.

Hopefully this (YouTube) link to the sound file works correctly and you can clarify. It only last ~10seconds, and in real life is very loud!
