Why people are dying in the backs of ambulances

Oh dear what on earth are you on about?

Who is he?

What is wrong with an efficient NHS that delivers what patients need?

don't be silly this is not about your perverse socialist views but a real issue over delivering health care at first point of contact.

Andy thinks that a public-funded and owned organisation providing healthcare to the entire nation, free at point of use is "not socialist."

Andy does not know what socialism is.

Perhaps he's American.

Last I heard there were 14000 people on the NHS waiting list for gender reassignment treatment

Jeez us :ROFLMAO:

What about species reassignment?
Where are you in that queue?
Is the queue at the veterinary hospital?

Andy doesn't know that the government is an organisation run by politicians, making political decisions that they hope will get them re-elected.

And that the NHS is a government-run organisation under the control of politicians.

Andy does not know what politics is.

I think I do and your contribution is getting more perverse as the thread continues.

Who pays for the profits and dividends. How has utilties worked out.

Your privatised system in the US spends 25% on admin - the NHS less than half that.

You really are thicko.
Your limited intelligence certainly shows through about how a properly run NHS can be more cost effective whilst able to give a small fixed rate profit and the US operating costs can't even be compared as it runs on a completely different principle

There it is. Socialism - that's all you know.

Please tell me how it should be delivered and give examples and costs.

Shows you don't even have an answer just rubbish.

What is properly run. Compare the NHS and other health services on outcomes vs expenditures. Where does the US come up and where do hybrid systems come up - hint they spend more than us on healthcare.

Tell me how you will work out the small fixed rate profit on a multi disciplinary surgery, that requires post op care?

But you said you can run it privately (the US is a private system) and now argue its too expensive.

You are like the morons on here you give a simple response- privatise and then cannot follow up, you provide a description but not detail - the sign of a ****.

You do realise its not hard to draw up a contract putting a limit on amount of percentage profit as is already done in certain sectors
It's far better to have places like hospitals run by not-for-profit companies than anyone who puts shareholder interest before all else (a requirement for limited companies, surely?)

Tell me how would manager 1 know before asking Mrs Mottie she would know the answer?
Mrs Mottie is a medical typist. Manager 1 wanted to know whether the consultants referral had been dealt with as it had passed the deadline. Mrs Mottie's department deals with that consultant.

Yep I would agree but is there any out there that are big enough or have the business acumen to make it more cost effective. And one downside of not for profit businesses is the high wages paid to bosses and all the perks to make it look like no profit made. I have several friends who work for a not for profits business and one of them has been on the sick for 20 years on 80% of salary and they are not alone. They have recently changed it to a 5 year limit

Companies limited by guarantee are different to companies limited by shares. They don't have to be a company limited by shares. Look up CIC's for example.
