I agree Conny, now sod off you pillockWith respect conny, the thread is entitled "Would you disown your child??????????" So, the door was opened to suggest any number of reason why someone may decide to disown their child being "gay" was an example.
Yes, a very valid point and I admit my error.
However, does it still need to result in name calling/slagging off becuase someone doesn't agree/like anothers point of view?
Seems a pretty childish response to me to be honest. If you have a view/opinion express it, if you disagree with someone elses viewpoint either put up a sensible reply/argument without the childish response or if you are unable to do so in an educated way then say nothing.
Seems easy to me.
Well you know about me creeping in the back doorfunny you should turn up on this thread dex as there has been much talk about you and camping

will be taken in the spirit it is meant, (I'll get you Gasman28, behind the bike sheds after geography I'm gonna smash your face in, ).I agree Conny, now s** off you pillock
This is so true and very sad indeed.it's sad to see two families are suffering because a family member is gay. Even sadder that RC wants to repair the damage and cant, while shifty, doesnt want to try
To$$erAJ, thank you for that reply.
I've never seen myself as a 'peacekeeper' on here its just that I've had so many 'pointless' arguments over the years with family and so called friends that it struck me one day how 'unhappy' I had become.
I like peace in my life, and these days am lucky enough that most of the time I have it, but I also like a good discussion where valid points are raised and differing opinions are respected. This, to me, is achievable without resorting to the depths that some posters on here seem to sink to in an effort to upset/bully their opponent so when I see this happening it just comes to me to 'step-in' and try to get things back on track.
Don't get me wrong, I'm not a totally serious geek with no sense of humuor, (I am a scouser after all! ), so things like this;

Anyway, I'm digressing, (Oooer! Is that legal? ), lets continue to have some good arguments/discussions/exchanges without the personal attacks eh?
All adds to motivation.Jealousy will get you nowhere!
It's at times like this I bet you wish you'd downsized to a small caravanTo do with relationship breakup and the fact they fell so far behind with the rent on the house they effectively got evicted but the relationship had been on the rocks for quite a while. This was the final straw and they decided to go their separate ways. He moved back with us and she went back to her mums. They share access to the kids so they now tend to stay at ours a couple of nights and at her parents the other nights.
The new grandson is my daughters second child and his illness was an entirely separate worry.
Confused? You would be if you lived in my house!
If I had a son like shifty, a self confessed racist homophobic who disapproves of (other) people buying new cars, I would disown him.
Fortunately, my son is normal.
