I see Oldham Athletic have drawn Everton (again at Boundary Park). Could we see them overcome another Merseyside team ??

I dont see why not .
depends on the biggest hearts and the desire.
As a ex 'paid' Am/pro footballer- who kicked tommy smith up into the air in Lancashire league in 1970s- :) - (when little Tommy was recovering from a 'strain') 'bless him'--little pussycat he was --it really is about showing the overpaid pussycats just what the game was/should be about.
Oldham will win- providing they are not 'phased' by their 'up in the clouds' ' chancers'.
The difference between good lower division footballers and higher division big brothers is as thin as a fag paper these days .
Everton though- have a good manager who does not believe in all that 'prima donna' stuff.

So what club was Tommy Smith playing for in the Lancashire League in the 70's?

and what year was it?
