Still you miss my point. It's impossible to say with any certainty how the UK would have fared over recent years had it remained in the EU ... because it's an unknown. Yes you can assert things based on other EU countries, however it still doesn't mean you can assert anything UK wise as fact. You can't, I can't, no one can.
If that is right, then nobody will ever be able to say Brexit was good for us.

If it can't be better ( or worse) then it was all irrelevant and shouldn't even have been an option.

However I think it is a bit different to that and there are indicators., both ways.

…from when we actually left - so January 2030. If nothing settled by then I’ll put my hands up and admit I got it wrong but until then, it’s a work in progress.
Could you tell us how you will judge brexit to be a failure?

And will you by 2030 (if you're still around) be able to tell us of a single proven 'brexit bonus'?

Starmer (if he's got the guts to carry it through) has laid the foundations for a new referendum by changing the voting demographic...

If you can't show us that there has been any benefit of brexit in 7 years time, would you vote differently if you are still around?

We would have got our covid vaccines later…..
Another myth!

Unless of course you can prove to us that the UK wasn't a sovereign nation whilst in the EU?

But as regards the jabs, then some of us realised they weren't needed. And decided that a healthy immune system was a better option rather than a watered down one...

Surely you believe in the freedom of choice, don't you? ;)

Utter utter rubbish - we knew how trade was before and now its not fricitonless. We were trading so we know exactly how it was before and now how difficult it is.

Just look how all the world is suffering economically. Nothing to do with brexit my friend.

You really are thick if you cannot accept that making trade harder is not to the benefit of the UK.

World is suffering? ...............

Yes. I've said before, it’s a long term plan. If I'm wrong and there is what I think is an alternative, I’ll vote for it.

What is this long term plan. Brexit benefits are always off in the future, always around the corner.

So tell me what is the long term Brexit plan - don't be shy now.

Brexit is chopping off your foot and declaring it's a victory because you only need one shoe.
