What, for doing a repair? Not a kind of operation I would want to be a part of. I would quote my rate plus material and that would be the end of it. Would be customer calls me for a free quote, what reason would I have to burn fuel, go diagnose the defect, tell the customer what is wrong, and then have him or someone else carry out the repair. Use to do that but not anymore. If you want a free quote call the big boys or compare.com
