I see the EU as the headmaster of a school where a pupil has done something wrong. The head wants to make an example of this pupil to show what happens to you if you're this naughty. This is in order to try and stop other pupils from being naughty.
After all, if there was no punishment, other pupils would be naughty.

Some headmasters could be ( can be ) very sadistic when it comes to the form of punishment used.

They can also have favourite pupils who get less punishment than other pupils guilty of doing the same wrong.

Now haven't all these Brexiteers argued teachers lack discipline, the cane was a great way to keep kids in check, it was better in my day etc, so when it's metaphorically used against them they are crying?

:ROFLMAO:

I see the EU as the committee of a golf club, one of whose members says,

"I'm not paying £1000 a year for membership anymore, I'd prefer to spend that on something else. Oh, but I still want access to the facilities of the club- why do you people find that so hard to understand?"

Bloody thick foreigners!

You just don't get it, do you.

Obviously not!

Would you care to lecture tell me about what it is I don't get?

Because your statement on its own is meaningless.

I see it more as "I'm not paying £1000 a year for membership anymore and taking £100 back, while some of you pay £100 a year for membership, take £1,000 back and want to tell me what to do".

What you don't get is that if we decide to walk away from an organisation whose rules say that as members we receive certain benefits, that organisation is not punishing us by withdrawing member benefits in accordance with the rules and in accordance with that they have consistently said from Day 1 would be the consequences of us deciding to cancel our membership.

Whatever cockamamie way you decide to see it, and whatever delusions of self-importance you conjure up to "justify" your position, the reality of losing access to member benefits remains, and, like all reality, is inescapable.

Never mind the official bolox...They punishing us..Common sense man, grow up.

Re.negotiate new ones!

oh DP, you do spout meaningless nonsense.

What a shame you refuse, or are incapable, to engage in meaningful discourse.
