Zion and the Art of Armageddon

sometimes going back to basics is the best way forward - continually adding more complexity is not always the solution

and you are certainly correct about not being a settled place - not sure if it ever has been, but up to the Arab Spring it would have been a very safe country to visit with many citizens enjoying a quality of life, yes, a horrible brutal dictator but this part of the world is insane and can not be governed in our ideals, they need a Gadaffi, a Sadam, a Asaad. or it just all reverts to warring factions And now the proxy war has run its course, that is what will happen
And none of that makes it a safe place for all to return to, which was the point you tried to make.

Video (s) on line of US warthog planes attacking Iranian (?) fruit cakes crossing into Syria from Iraq ???

Poo tin will be none to happy as his naval base is under threat :giggle:

Dare say Syria will descend into more chaos when all the various factions fall out

Typical dire ear a Stan country full of Badly disciplined gun men firing there guns into the air shouting snack bar slogans

Bunch of fruit cakes place will probably end up as another dire ear a Stan place run by corrupt mad mullers

Woman’s rights down the toilet ??? No surprise

Syrian rebels (?) should in part thank Israel and Ukraine for there success ???

The mad mullers in Tehran will have issues ?? Supplying there terrorist allies ( Hezbollah) with equipment :giggle:

Best advised they keep. A suit case packed they could be next to have to do a runner ;)

I love the simplicity. The naivety.

I also want refugees to leave.
Who will take their place to do the work that they are currently doing.
NB. Refugees are allowed to work as normal, Asylum Seekers are only allowed to do unpaid voluntary work, or none at all.

Meddling by foreign governments (ours included, I shouldn't wonder) is one reason countries have so many leaving in the first place.
The Ba'thist Party's (the birth of the Asaad regime) coup was assisted by USA and other Western governments.
the Syrian Ba'th probably got more help from the CIA ... In an interview with political scientist Malik Mufti, senior Syrian Ba'athist Jamal al-Atassi stated that "in the case of the [Ba'athist] takeover in Syria—there was a push from the West and in particular from the United States for the Ba'ath to seize power and monopolize it and push away all the other elements and forces.

if they are here because of Asaad, then that reason has now expired time to go home and build your own country
A bit tricky, as one dictatorship is probably about to be taken over by a different type of dictatorship...

Do you think people who oppose the new lot (especially women) should have to go back?

The Toyota pickup is still the vehicle of choice for these terrorist armies, it seems. Nothing can stop them once they begin to roll, as Assad found out to his cost this weekend. What now? An article by Joshua Keating @ VOX.com peddles a few ideas of how they took Damascus so quickly, and what the regional powers will be doing as they come to terms with a new regime. Iranian officials will not be enjoying their morning coffee, mullahing over their newspaper at this grim news: HTS have Al Qaeda roots and will be no friend of theirs, consequently driving a wedge between Tehran and Beirut where Hezbollah are already having Breakfast in the Ruins. Israel is so nervous they've had to send more troops into the Golan to ensure no funny business disturbs them over bagels, while the Saudi's have to contend with a visit from no-fear Keir who's been urged to bring up the murder of Kashoggi by his widow - as much chance of that as him discussing the dodgy deal done to aquire the rights to the 2034 World Cup.

All of that has the affect of pushing Gaza further down the pecking order as the Palestinians settle in for a second Winter. Oh! What a lovely war.

One way apparently to stop any rebellion in it's tracks is to force them to use Land Rovers ;)

the vast vast majority of this migration was young males, they left their women behind. And looking at very media coverage around Europe there is a lot of Syrians out celebrating - which sort of indicates their side has ow won
Of course they should go back

do you really? you often seem quite hostile to the contrary

Israel has taken advantage of the turmoil in Syria to invade more Syrian land.

They do enjoy stealing land from Arabs.
