pro Hamas protests

However, the people opposed to Israel's destruction of Palestine, the dispossesion, expulsion and slaughter of the Palestinian people, and the erasure of their culture and history, are quite well informed.

Yes, the LGBTQ community feel much safer in Gaza nowadays owing to the fact that there are no tall building anymore.

The vast majority of those attending the pro Hamas protests don't have a clue about anything, let alone why they are there.
It's just a day out to signal their virtue.
Oh dear, you don’t know the difference between Palestine and Hamas.

Back to the drawing board for you

I doubt anybody in Palestine feels safe, with their families, homes, farms, food, hospitals, schools, museums, water supplies, fuel, electricity, sewage systems and cemeteries destroyed by Israeli attacks.

Did they do something to Israel to spark that off or is that the elephant in the room as far as you are concerned?

They have not felt, or been, safe since Israel began its policy of invading and destroying Palestine over 70 years ago.

Looks like there IS an elephant in the room as far as you are concerned. Let’s just pretend nothing recent has happened that sparked things off eh?

You do know that Palestine as it is now known was always the homeland of the Jews, it was known as the land of Isreal? The Isrealis were driven out, Jewish people have always maintained a connection to the land as their historical homeland. They haven't invaded it.

Most Palestinians currently rely on community kitchens for hot meals but these are also running out of basic necessities. We’re talking about two weeks without food, fuel and medical supplies and chronic shortages. Despite the ceasefire in place, Israel continues to kill Palestinians across the Strip. There is a violation every single day....

Four Palestinians were killed while they were trying to collect wood for cooking because there had been no cooking gas for the past two weeks. There was also a Palestinian fisherman who was killed because he was trying to catch some fish.
Hind Khoudary, Reporting from Gaza City.

The situation in Gaza is going from critical to catastrophic.

It doesn’t seem that negotiations on the ceasefire deal are edging any closer, especially since the US Special Envoy Steve Witkoff said that Hamas has unrealistic demands and proposals behind closed doors. The bridge proposal that he’s put forward talks about extending the status quo and Hamas releasing captives in exchange for humanitarian aid. What Witkoff didn’t talk about is a ceasefire that would be permanent, or phase two. The extension past Ramadan and the Passover was cast as an opportunity to discuss what comes next. In the meantime, it has alleviated concerns that the US was taking this too far when Israel is not ready to talk about ending the war.
