Finland for starters. Ukraine are holding their own and these are minnow countries.
Did you know finland surrendered after the winter war? I didn't know that for a long time until recently. If they are your hope and saviour, I wish you the best of luck.

Ukrainians might have a chance. Russians see them as brothers and do their best to not harm them. But, the ukrainian performance is nothing to write home about. All they do is beg for money and gear. I wonder if they ever get any fighting done?

Russia are no longer the military threat they once were. Why have a protracted war against your neighbour. After Finland kicked their arse, you'd have thought they would have learned their lesson.

Surrendering is now called arse kicking? I presume losing territory is now called winning?

Finland were so scared of the Russian threats, warning them not to join NATO, that they went ahead and joined NATO. That's power for ya. Quaking in their boots, lol.
Standing alone against an enemy would be not scared. If you have to run to others for protection, that would be scared. I don't think joining nato is a problem for russia. I believe they will not tolerate nato infrastructure in findland, such as missile and radar systems.

yep we all thought they would roll over ukraine in days , but are they playing a game sticking in cannon fodder and old equipment .
US will need years to build up there arsenal of stinger missilesetc , germany down to a couple of days ammo . american reserves of ammo depleted and cannot make enough to keep up with daily consumption , Factory making artillery shells that are getting fired at an average of 7700 a day can only make 14000 a month ..
cut and pasted
" the front lines have hardened during the frigid winter months, the ground war has become a bloody, artillery-heavy fight, with Ukrainian forces firing an average of 7,700 artillery shells a day, according to the Ukrainian military, greatly outpacing the U.S. prewar production rate of 14,000 155-mm rounds a month. In the first eight months after Russian President Vladimir Putin’s invasion, Ukrainian forces burned through 13 years worth of Stinger antiaircraft missiles and five years of Javelin missiles, according to Raytheon, which produces both weapons."https://www.washingtonpost.com/national-security/2023/03/08/us-weapons-manufacturing-ukraine/

It must feel great knowing you have the West at your back. (y)

Have your back for how long? Some said money spent so far is same as that spent in afghanistan in 20 years. What was the outcome of afghanistan? People running away in the middle of the night.

Nothing funny about it. No smoke without fire. I don't care for the info enough to find out. But, seems reasonable. Bidden needs to grab as much as possible in a single term, hence the accelerated spend.
