As to the fiasco of Covid and the UK....
The UK comes in the top/bottom three places in the three comparisons made here:
Excess deaths in G7 countries, UK comes bottom/top.

Fatality rate, UK comes 2nd, bottom but 1

Deaths per capita, UK comes third.

Worldwide, how many people will die because of poverty. The economic shutdown is already adding an extra 1.6 million to the unemployed in this country, and that's before the furlough scheme ends, I would expect that number to double at least.
When tenants are no longer protected from eviction next month, how many suicides will that result in.
