Adding a wireless switch in garage

I'm not sure what you want then I'll leave it to the others, my suggestion you could have done in half hour.
I literally just want to know if the receiver in the link you have pasted could connect to the switch I have already. So i can use both the original switch and the wireless one. Will post a pic of the wiring soon

Rewire the light and remove the existing switch so you have permanent supply to the fitting. Buy a wireless switch as linked, in 2 way option and wire in the receiver at the light fitting. Put the 2 switches where you want them.

Or run another cable for 2 way switching.

Sorry @pete01 - edited my reply above as noticed it was you that sent the link to the exact wireless switch I am looking to get. So i tweaked it to suit that. Will post pic of wiring now

Just clip a 3 core and earth round to the new switch position as wayners said, that's the easiest option.

Sounds like it's the least complicated. Just noticed your link has 2 switches and 1 receiver. Could I not just fit that and get rid of the current switch?

You could yes, fit the receiver in place of that switch and put the switches where you want.

You might need a deeper box and blank plate for the receiver

Cheers, I might give that a go rather than cable from one side of the garage to the other. Will check backplate first

Yes, if you want to rely on battery operated switches and a receiver which is powered on 24/7 wasting electricity, and uses the same frequency as 1000s of other devices including gate openers, car fobs, remote control toys and the rest.

Or just get a cable, switch and a box for half of that price which will work reliably for ever and could have been installed by now including going to Screwfix to buy them.

This reply amused me :) I'm a gadget geek but also rather enjoy saving lecky where I can. Can't imagine it's going to use much at being on standby listening for a signal mind. That said, I might leave for Screwfix soon

Run another cable for two-way switching an option? Won't ever fail it play up and easy enough.
Run some cable conduit tubing from switch up wall tidy
