its owned by the parent company Alliance Boots which is owned by Stefano Pessina, an Italian business man who made his fortunes in the nuclear industry. He got funding from Kravis Kohlberg and Roberts (KKR) a venture capitalist firm in the USA, as well as his own money to do a corporate buyout of Boots

I'm warming to communism where the priority should be that everyone has a job and to hell with the fat cats who are only interested in big profits!

There is no need for the minority to have all the wealth.

the profits were wiped out to service the billions of debt... the profits were nowhere near a billion...

But they did make a profit from the business of 1 billion, what it was spent on is neither here nor there! It just doesnt make sense because you can see them spending money like crazy around the head office, new buildings, a £100 million pound automated warehouse, another 68 million pound drug dispensing warehouse! they are getting ready to float the company back on the stock market
