Cant understand the attraction of cats at all. They are the ultimate cwapping machines .
If dogs foul in a field or on a pavement- its instant fines.
Cats can do it anywhere at all- with no recourse . Even in other peoples gardens- no big deal.
They kill birds anything smaller than themselve.

The owners wouldn't care. They never have. They'll just get another one.
No wonder people poisen them . But- if anyone gets caught doing it- they get sentenced to prison etc . Harm a child- and its a warning .

Here's a story for you about cats. And true.
Farmer mixing his slurry lagoon one day and dog chases cat. Cat usually runs across lagoon as there is a crust on top.
Not this time.
Cat is drowning in slurry and farmer reaches out to save cat which then clamps its jaws on his hand full force.
Unable to remove cat so someone arrives and they kill the cat to get it off.
Off to hospital and then referred to another. By this time hand is like a balloon and specialist then informs him after examination that his hand may have to be amputated.
Well they saved his hand in the end. Something in the saliva I was told.

Yeh- I can well believe that .
On the other hand- they do have their uses .
if your septic tank has stopped working. The very best thing to get it functioning again is to throw in a dead cat. Personally I'd throw a live one in (it would soon die-- especially when the lid goes back on ).
The trick is how to catch one first .
If I was the farmer I would have got my 12 bore and blew the two of them away......it would have saved the slurry from getting contaminated

It is sad when people lose their lives in matters like this...I also remember a couple of years ago when a dog ran into the sea I think it was in Blackpool and the owner went in after it and drowned...I think the dog survived it
I think there are a lot of sad people on here, the Yanks prooved long ago that people that would harm animals would carry on to carry out other crimes of violence to other people and children, so i assume there is a lot of paedophiles, rapist and murderers on this site.

Statistically speaking there will quite possibly be a number of people who come on this site (out of a population of tens of thousands over the years) who fall into those categories. Your rationalisation of cause and effect is a load of nonsense though IMO.

Pred, although I am not a great fan of cats/dogs it was all in a jest....no way would I harm them or any animals.......I remember a couple of years ago there was a crimina; profilist and he was saying the same thing that the murderers and sadistic inmates he interviewed all started at a early age torturing animals.
