Hi all,
Looking for experience of anyone converting a house cold pitched roof to warm roof. Can't find much info online about anyone converting an existent roof from cold to warm & roofing companies not really advertising this as a service. It would seem to me if you were having your roof re-slated/tiled that it would make sense to make this change if it fits budget, technically possible & if planning permission granted to raise roof height. We are in a chalet style house where the upstairs rooms are essentially in the roof. Currently the stud walls of the rooms are not insulated and we have the classic cold roof, unvented with insulation in loft space only. Therefore i think it would be quite applicable. Any experience of this appreciated.
