We live in a house built in the 1970s with no dodgy past. (having said that we are on top of the iste of a bttleground between the romans and ancient brits!)
last week i was in our new loft conversion ironing my trousers for my little girls christening and as i looked around the bedside light (its one of those touch ones rather than a switch) came on. spooky i thought!
during the week shes not been too well and while i was comforting her while she was crying, again in our bedroom in the loft conversion, her musical cot toy came playing music, which imediatly calmed her down and sent her to sleep (she normally takes ages to calm at the moment and needs various distractions as she is teething) now before we blame my dodgy electrics its battery powered.

tonight my wife was standing in the hallway and the landing light came on by itself.

my wife thinks its her old nan keeping watch over our little one (an idea i quite like) but its all a bit spooky!
you havn't just taken on a lodger by the name of Captain Howdy have you? ;)
