this is the suspect door that housed the j32 unit …. Probably likely to have asbestos?

I got a picture of the door! Wondering if the board screwed to it is an asbestos board?

Also wondering if the boards inside the cupboard where it was housed are plasterboard or asbestos board?

Highly likely. In the past (i.e. pre-1990s) I've screwed AIB onto airing cupboard doors and ceilings. It normally incorporates the lowest risk variety of asbestos, chrysotile, but nevertheless it should be handled with a degree of caution as well as disposed of properly (not just chucked in a skip, which might result in a fine)

AIB can contain brown/blue or white asbestos also AIB cannot be worked on for longer than 1 hour and that includes setting up and clearing up .
I know of one guy who cut 1 inch off the bottom of a door just like that to get wood flooring down . his entire flat got condemned as contaminated and a lot of the stuff in flat sent to tip

The door is AIB and requires specialist transport and disposal.

And should not be left in a public accessible place, especially uncovered.

It isn’t in a public place it’s in our garden up the side of our alley ready to be taken away by workmen today. Thanks though

Can anybody shed light on the boards inside the cupboard please? Also, really confused as to why whoever changed the warm air unit didn’t dispose of the door back in 2007.

Looks like plasterboard but, again, impossible to give the all clear by looking at a photo. You have what looks like AIB on the door, which could have been used elsewhere, and therefore should have had the area checked before you started anything.

Ok I took a video and some more photos. The plaster in one board is really white and not the usual grey colour. I am actually freaking out so bad. the tin foil looking stuff is on the ceiling where the silver heating pipe went
