Well they mentioned the devaluation of the pound hitting them hard, and lower consumer confidence being a factor.
And given that growth is predicted to go negative in the run up to Halloween, then Brexit has to take some of blame!

City plumbing are OK but you have to haggle a bit. If you chose what you want I could compare with my local branch.
Just don't go online. If you do, only get branded.
My preferred supplier is Dougfields for quality, but they're SW and Wales. Plumbase are also excellent quality but terrible service in my area, I suspect that's a local issue though.
Best thing is to get a price for the whole shooting match, then ask how much they will knock off, then ask again a week later, 25% discount should be your minimum target.
Certain items I would check online, a lot of these plumbing shops will quote you £350 for a mirror (warm and cool led lights, heated pad behind glass and shaver socket)
but you'll find similar online for around £100 or a little over.
