Great showers to have. When they go wrong it's an easy straight replacement, you can do yourself

But the attraction of the Mira is the increased flow. If I were sure that shower would chuck out a decent quantity of water, I'd go for it.

You know me, Eddie. I can't decide at the best of times.

I guess I won't know which has the best flow rate until the one I choose is up and running. Let's put it this way, if the Mira had a vastly superior "drench" factor, I'd pay the extra.

Stivino, yes. But am I right in thinking that Mira's showers would provide more flow (up to 3 x, allegedly) from the boiler's output than a shower without?

I presume you are referring to Mira magni flow? I had a look at their website and couldn't find the technology behind their claim.
To me it seems that Magni flow is for use in areas with low pressure or flow. If I was to increase the flow through my shower by three times two things would happen;
1; I wouldn't be able to stand under it.
2; The boiler wouldn't be able to keep up.
It's one thing increasing the throughput. It's another thing heating that quantity of water.
