BBC news Black out

Nope still nothing on the main bbc news homepage here - go and look for yourself. https://www.bbc.co.uk/news nothing.
Maybe because there were only 2 arrests and they were from the opposite side.
there never will be, it does not fit the BBC's agenda - the big news on my BBC feed this morning is Michelle Obama.

(any news that does not fit their leftish wokish agenda is always semi hidden away in difficult to find nooks and crannies, then if anyone complains they can say, look we covered it, we're not biased)

No part of it is hard to find. It's been reported all week leading up to it too .

There are other news sources. What coverage have they given ?

The page has a most watched section at the bottom. Interesting subjects.

Many news services work in a slightly different way over the weekend and also during some holidays. The main page has a lot of different headings. These may be referred during TV news for more info or for if people want to follow the subject as it will be updated more quickly.

Editors decide what goes where on the web and also what is covered on the TV. If some one can find what they want on the web then clearly it is being covered and not hidden.

Personally I mostly prefer to get it via the TV.

I may moan about coverage. An example
I happen to be aware of a fact mentioned right at the end
This year, a report by a committee of MPs, external found that as of December 2023, the government had only given out £3.7bn of levelling-up cash out of a promised £10.7bn.
Of that £3.7bn, councils have only been able to spend £1.24bn.

LOL I think it should be the 1st aspect mentioned Other sources will pick up on this area and not mention it at all even though it's a very important aspect. The money is not there.

BBC News Home - Michelle Obama, Reeves to save schools, poor Palistinians, and a sex traffic thing
BBC News England - I married a train Driver, MP punches someone, and something about wheel Chairs
BBC News Scotland - they seem to have just worked out the clock above Waverly station is 5 minutes fast (been like that for over a 100 years)

Do you only use 1 news source too?

If its not a major headline it doesn't exist ?

It's interesting to see thar supporters of violent rioters are complaining that supporters of violent rioters aren't given as much free publicity as they want.

What next? A march demanding better conditions for convicted burglars?

A demonstration supporting drink-drivers?

Not at all. I use various sources of news.

The point being most people will ever just see or listen to the headlines, and the choice of headlines the BBC use forms a very distinctive trait. A trait that seems not only to inform but also guide their viewers into what they should be thinking.

Even when the beeb are on my side, such as hoping Trump looses, it is obvious they are taking sides. And that from a broadcaster sworn to be neutral is wrong. They are biased.

Associated Press covered the story calling him a 'far right fascist thug', although i'm wondering why 'The sea of marchers toted Union and England flags and some waved “Make America Great” banners as they gathered near a fenced-off statute of former Prime Minister Winston Churchill in the square opposite the Houses of Parliament.'

Stick to The Wail boyo, and you'll be comforted. Don't bother with any factual news. (y)

They are biased.
I don't need to know what demonstrations are happening in London by having it on the BBC front page. It doesn't concern me.

It is on the England and London page if I choose to look.

Much less biased than most news sources
