One thing i aint b****y Irish my blood line is far superior to that. I moved here to escape the muslim enclave you live in

As regards painting houses to hide things--well nearly every rendered house i have ever seen anywhere in any country is painted so am i missing something???
yes you are missing something, most off the houses are painted but not what you use the paint for, "so basically your argument is self defeating especially as render should be painted as further protection against any mishaps such as cracks." Paint stops cracks, shrinkage, hold the front page freddie has discovered this.

Who was this Oliver Cromwell Fellow....Did he have a plastering gang that went around Ireland mixing up sharp sand with pva and then painting it onto walls before rendering them. The plaster fell off, people died of exposure, cholera, malnutrition and hypothermia.....The rotten cowboy Bast**d, Hey was he an ancestor of yours J bonding.

Anyway I have had enough of this :

I am wrong
Freddie is wrong
World renown multi national companies are wrong
Good working practice guides are wrong
70,000 New builds per annum are wrong

However a self proclaimed plasaterer who spends his days on this forum as opposed to errrrr.....well .....plastering . He is right, No proof offered whatsoever, just his theories, and nonsensical bumbling rantings.

Just one small point , If waterproof renders let water in (as they do to an extent, dont you also understand that they let it out again also you stupid stupid moron.

Never argue with an idiot they simply bring you down to their level and win by experience.

you thick orange prick, misquoting again "....Did he have a plastering gang that went around Ireland mixing up sharp sand with pva and then painting it onto walls before rendering them. you forgot the cement.

I am wrong = correct
Freddie is wrong = correct
World renown multi national companies are wrong= only because you cant read.
Good working practice guides are wrong = especially the one you made up
70,000 New builds per annum are wrong= just the ones you do.

constant driving rain will get past the waterproofer because of pressure how do you suggest it gets out? before the big FREEZE.

I take offence to your remarks about the irish bloodline being inferior as i myself have irish blood 1 : 1 english / irish (no PVA or waterproofer)

With regard to your remark about escaping the muslim enclave we live in, how do you think your neighbours feel about the english living over there in the beautiful west coast of Eire :?: Especially when you know a little bit of the history of how we treated the Irish under that c**t Cromwell! :!:

Well i inform the locals most of them English as the Irish left the place as they didnt think it was beautifull enough, that i care not what happened hundreds and hundreds of years ago, but then again the only ones who keep bringing that stuff up are misguided IRA supporters, nobody else is interested especially the other Irish here who also do not use pva on the outside of their houses and use waterproofer in the final coat and also shock horror dare paint the outside of their house to cover up the fact that it is falling down around them.
is that that special paint that you recommend to cover up all your cracks. you swore by waterproofer in the top coat then go on to say that wont stop damp you need a special paint, sad prick.

Just found a used tub of Larsens pva bond and it says in bold letters on the usage---donot use in areas of permanent damp or wetness.

I dont think there is anymore to say jbonding except that you are completely wrong and are a bit of a cowboy when it comes to knowing how to render outside walls, perhaps you should stick to tarmacing drives.
it says in uses, dont use. that makes sense what does it really say in uses.

lets look at this another way, waterproofer in scratch but not in the top. this is TWO coats the top absorbes water and drys out the scratch is not up against driving rain. waterproofer in both coats becomes ONE coat of apparantly a waterproof wall. if driving rain is constant it doesnt dry out and the water can only go one way or stay there now what happens when it freezes.

Not on the tub i found it says what i posted, and what would you say was permanatly damp or wet areas if it wasnt outside? the only thing i can think of inside would be the bottom of a fish tank--have you rendered there aswell?

Why dont you just admit you where wrong--nobody has agreed with you and only you are right but all the evidence and written stuff from the manufacturers says you are completely and utterly wrong in the process's you have described or given as advice.

What it basically means is that you are correct and me Legs, dj any other plasterer,--Durabond--Larsens--Evostick and god knows who else aint got a clue what we are talking about

Your quite mad :D

Anyway i have proved my points and i am bored with it --- goodbye fool.
youve not proved any points, it must have its uses on the tub. the only people dissagreeing are you and legs. What written stuff by the manufacturers, do you mean the stuff i posted on pva. or the stuff legs made up. What it basically means is that you are correct and me Legs, dj any other plasterer,--Durabond--Larsens--Evostick and god knows who else aint got a clue what we are talking about, no just you and legs, whats that magic paint you talk of? quote freddie "and what would you say was permanatly damp or wet areas if it wasnt outside?" what it means is dont apply to a wet wall which you wouldnt do anyway, its to control suction and seal dust and i think the rain may of already solved the problem. i thought you said the last one was for dry conditions ie a dry day.

Is it just me or is Jbonding rambling incoherently like a meths soaked drunk on giro day....Is it giro day J bonding?
You are incredibly selective with what you choose to hear / read j.b. We have offered up loads of proof that you dismiss as not being there, made up, or that every tub of pva in existance that stastes "DONT USE EXTERNALLY" is a figment of every ones imagination. Just who are you getting to read this out to you, you ***** tramp? cus they must be as thick as you are my boll*ck headed little friend.

By the way I have taken a picture of the back of an evostik waterproofer and will post it up so you can get your care in the community officer to read it to you .....I cant wait to hear what you say after reading where it clearly says USE IN EVERY COAT You may not use waterproofer J.B as it should be used, or you wouldnt on your own house, and by that I mean one without wheels you cowboy clown Itinerant.

are you sure it doesnt say dont use in damp conditions, youve offered up no proof, wheres this irish rule of work thingy you keep refering to, dont ask me if its giro day when your missus is sat there, ask her.id love to see the picture, are you the same legs who said this in a previous post "Posted: Sun Sep 25, 2005 3:45 pm Post Subject:

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Look the proper way to render is........actually ............with or without waterproofer in the scratch, but absolutely with waterproofer in the finished floating coat. do not use galvanised beads around windows but plastic or stainless steel. Loads more to it that has been repeated countless times before so I suggest doing a search on the subject treefella. Burkey if you dont have a clue why bother answering, someone could end up making very expensive mistakes following ill informed advise.[/b]
then say this in this post "I cant wait to hear what you say after reading where it clearly says USE IN EVERY COAT, now make your mind up as you can see by my posts ive told you how it should be done and also say it can be done your way in extreme weather conditions, pick bones in what i say but my method sounds more convincing than yours because you keep changing. would you back up what freddie says about render you need to finish it off with a paint to hide the cracks because you always get them.

Just running around in circles chasing his tail.

No where do the makers of pva/whateverbond endorse it's use outside in exterior situations.

The makers of Evostick waterproofer endorse the fact that it is used in every coat of exterior render not just or only the scratch coat

These are the two stated facts of questions arisen here and applied by the Plasterers who have replied to this thread all except one who is jbonding who has written his own directions for the uses of these products which nobody agree's with and is in direct conflict with the manufacturers directions of usage.

Perhaps jbonding should stick to what he knows best--reading palms and selling lucky white heather

quote freddie"No where do the makers of pva/whateverbond endorse it's use outside in exterior situations".
but do they say dont use it outside, i didnt think so.
quote freddie"The makers of Evostick waterproofer endorse the fact that it is used in every coat of exterior render not just or only the scratch coat"
and do they advise you paint it to hide cracks?
i i hope your not calling yourself a plasterer are you, what quals have you got if any?
