i assume the word "bell " has been censored lol
It was not "bell", it was "Ar*e", as in transam (transom) -> ar*e end.
But I have been warned, by a mod, that I must not call him **** end anymore, otherwise I might be banned
He must have 'contacts' because he is allowed to tell as many lies as he can get away with, but I must not call him "ar*e end" !
His attitude, lies and general RWR views kind of sets the tone of the forum.

Gove defending Boris lie. As I said when wrong and proven to be wrong they double down.

What is the value of benefits in terms of trade and regulations etc. You make it sound as if its simply a dead weight loss.

tis a simple question

How much does the UK pay the EU per week ? if u do not know ? then how do u know that the 350 million is in correct ?

I do know and the lie has been debunked - as I said its serial believers like yourself.

The claim that Britain “sends the EU £350m a week” is wrong because:

  • The rebate negotiated by Margaret Thatcher is removed before anything is paid to Brussels. In 2014, this meant Britain actually “sent” £276m a week to Brussels; in 2016, the figure was £252m.
  • Slightly less than half that sum – the money that Britain does send to the EU – either comes back to the UK to be spent mainly on agriculture, regional aid, research and community projects, or gets counted towards the country’s international aid target.
Regardless of how much the UK “saves” by leaving the EU, the claim that a future government would be able to spend it on the NHS is highly misleading because:

  • It assumes the government would choose to spend on the NHS the money it currently gets back from the EU (£115m a week in 2014), thus cutting funding for agriculture, regional development and research by that amount.

https://fullfact.org/europe/membership-fee-eu/

Lets cut to the chase hmmm

so the UK gives the EU 170 million squid per week ??? ( as noseall suggests)

the UK gets X amount back from the EU ?? (X amount dunno yet)

so some where there is a surplus i.e we give the EU more then we get back ?

the money we get back from the EU has to be spent as the EU dictates ? meaning the UK cannot spend the money how it deems fit

soooo

If I give some one £100 they give me £50 back , but tell me what I can spend the £50 on

Economics  easy peasy japanesey as the above has cut through all the BS & sums it up:)

When you are in a club, you are in it for the benefits and you consider that the membership fees are worth paying in order to benefit from the advantages.

Now 52% of the electorate that voted were persuaded by lies and fake news that the benefits of being in the EU were not worth the cost.
48% of the electorate that voted thought that they were better off in the EU.

So this government is riding roughshod over the views of the 48%, in order to deliver a hard Brexit that they claim that the 52% voted for.
Except, that is not accurate. The 52% voted for various levels of exiting the EU. They did not vote for any particular version. In fact, had DC's wishlist been granted the referendum would probably not even have happened, and if it did, the result would have been a resounding REMAIN!
So, not only are the views of 48% being completely ignored, the varying degrees of the 52% are also being ignored.
The only ones that are content are the ones who want a Brexit at any price, and that is like turkeys voting for Christmas.

So when the details of Brexit are firmly 'on the table' we should have a referendum on the details and precise future arrangements of our relationship with the EU.

That is how divorces work, after the negotiations, the partners can decide to reject or accept the arrangements that have been negotiated.

The added complication in Brexit is the time limitations on negotiations, so the government had better get a move on, (current popular opinion). Otherwise we will crash out in the most catastrophic, acrimonious and chaotic way possible.

taking all things into consideration, we will be saving money then ?
Quitters say we will. Remoaners say we won't. The clever people running the economy say the UK will take a financial hit.
I'm with the clever people.
