He was in UFO? That was rubbish!

Don't worry about me, I'm just still miffed about how the 21st century started, yet I STILL don't have:

1) My flying car
2) My house of tomorrow
3) A personal robot
4) A holiday in space
5) My holographic TV set
6) A futuristic metallic suit to go to work in
7) A secretary with purple hair
Do you mean it's rubbish he wasn't in it or that UFO was rubbish or both? actually he was in Invasion UFO the pilot film.
Just a bit of trivia: The set for UFO was in Elstree Studios but the opening titles were filmed at BBC Elstree studios formally ATV where Eastenders is Produced.

I was thinking of that Gerry Anderson series, "UFO 1980" or something of the like, with real people in (as opposed to Supermarionation)

I thought UFO 1980 was rubbish!

Ollie Beak( and Fred Barker) do you mean? he was around for quite a while i remember him with Wally Whyton and Muriel Young he might well have appeared with Ayesha Brough(remember Lift Off?) aswell?

Ayesha Brough has plenty of mentions on the web, but without knowing what she looks like I can't find a picture.

But she was also in "Easy as ABC"

Painless Birth for old Simone !!

A married couple went to the hospital to have their baby delivered.

Upon their arrival, the doctor said he had invented a new machine that would
transfer a portion of the mother's labor pain to the baby's father. He asked
if they were willing to try it out. They were both very much in favor of it.

The doctor set the pain transfer dial to 10% for starters, explaining that
even 10% was probably more pain than the father had ever experienced before.

But as the labor progressed, the husband felt fine and asked the doctor to
go ahead and bump it up a notch. The doctor then adjusted the machine to 20%
pain transfer. The husband was still feeling fine. The doctor checked the
husband's blood pressure and was amazed at how well he was doing. At this
point they decided to try for 50%.

The husband continued to feel quite well. Since it was obviously helping out
his wife considerably, the husband encouraged the doctor to transfer ALL the
pain to him. The wife delivered a healthy baby with virtually no pain. She
and her husband were ecstatic.

When they got home, the milkman and the postman were laying dead on their porch.

Leave it out, everyone knows the best was Tom Baker, anyone who disagrees is plain daft. ;)

Just as Roger Moore is the real James Bond, Silvester Macoy is the real Dr Who. Must be, cos that's what I grew up with!

Anyone who disagrees must be either older than 27 (cos my bro would agree with me) or younger than 20 (cos my sis would agree with me too!)

I did see the picture of Ayesha, but didn't know it would be her. From what was said, I assumed it would be someone good looking...

That's more like it! Still an element of "slapped a*se" about the face, but not as much :D
