Brexit humiliation

Like I said, it takes time. Go and have major surgery. You know you need it. Do you feel okay immediately after?
the only logic from that is to go and break a leg so you can be better in 10 years.

why inflict harm in the hope that things will get better? There should be some small immediate benefits. Tell me about them? It's the strongest and only argument to prove brexi t is worthwhile.

don't get me wrong, I'm not after rejoi ning (would be on much worse terms ), but equally I would like to get some benefits from it.

Duncan Smith passed a comment on benefits - it will take some time to show any. Some one asked him what the benefits are.

Your probably talking years if it does. Plans of mice and men are likely to figure as they always do so who knows. |

Having a worsening cost of living crisis wont help and that for some millions of people has been around for some time. The number just grow.

EU indirectly caused this cost of living / gas issue crisis
No business did really. Russia is a logical place to have it piped from;. They don't have N Sea gas. If we didn't we would be using Russian gas too.

Oh I know - pipe it from the Arabs, USA or Australia. LOL Have it bought in ships when there is an easier way.

Busines is responsible for all sorts of things including job movement and where it chooses to invest. Maybe you have noticed that gov's do think about these factors. Not too successfully here on a global scale anyway. ;) Not even EU wide now or maybe that will sort itself out but by how much?

More Brexit humiliation.

I think when Smogg touted his enduring Brexit legacy was markings on pint pots and expensive to run vacuum cleaners, it was time to dump the ministerial role on the political shít heap.

Another one of Bozzas Brexit failed follies.

they didn't even come up with a list of the benefits, but no surprises

I've got two anniversaries, I tend to disregard the first one in early December, although she doesn't.

Almost a year after the planes flew into the twin towers, a week before 9/11 the airwaves were full of talk about heightened security as there were expectations of a further large scale bombing to mark the anniversary of 9/11. By the end of the week most of us had been programmed to expect an atrocity to mark the anniversary of the twin towers disaster.

So, Sept 11, I wake up to the radio alarm and as I was lying there, the wife said 'happy anniversary'. I froze solid, and just lay there thinking what a bizarre thing to say. Then she said it again. All I could think of to say was 'are you ******* mad?', there were a few tears and words before it dawned on me that we had our wires crossed.
Ain't ever forgotten that anniversary since.

Forgot. As luck would have it, so did she, she just remembered half an hour ago.
