I get it that the particular piece of music is a popular choice. What is your point other than compounding what I said?

The song is associated with Hitler, so the question is why chose that as an anthem, and why should people want to stand for it.
And a gazillion other people some very good some very bad. People still own German shepherd dogs as pets. Hitler had one of those too.
