"Brexiteers show their gross ignorance by claiming the EU is oppressing Britain"

.@nealerichmond: 'Ms Widdecombe managed to show a grossly ignorant viewpoint while failing to demonstrate any evidence behind her argument'

"Much attention has rightly been focused on the first sitting of the European Parliament in Strasbourg this week, probably far more attention than many other sittings of that formidable parliamentary body.

The Brexit Party certainly made an impact or at least they gave the impression they did: the back turning, the incessant tweets laced with cheeful ignorance...."

Again John. Bad taste. But you will never admit your wrong. Your not capable of a balanced argument.

Hitler liked wearing a grey suit. At smart events it seems to have been his favourite colour

And your point is?

Tell me about your "hitler's favourite" proposal
Simple, Noseall said 'it was one of 700 songs Nazis used'

That ignores the fact the song was Hitlers favorite. Ie not 1 of 700 but 1 of 1

don't agree that it is generally considered that there is an association between a piece of music or a colour of clothing, and one single person of the many millions who like it
Maybe there is no association.

However Ode to joy has historical connections to Hitler and seperately to Germany. That makes it worthy of discussion.

Your immediate attitude of ridiculing a plumber for mentioning it shows your contempt for anybody with a different viewpoint.

If UKIP had chosen a song with such connections, you would be the first person on here crowing how terrible it is.

And your point is?

My point is that it is just a piece of music. Many millions of people like it. No doubt thousands don't.

You might have heard people say "I'm not a vegetarian. Hitler was a vegetatian"
Which is specious.

When did it first occur to you to complain about this piece of music?

When did you first decide to define it as one of the pieces of music that hitler liked?

When did you stop eating chocolate cake with cream?

Transam gives not a jot about the Brexit party

I wont be voting for em ;)

come to think of it I wont be voting for any of the other B*** ends either

Just to check, when adl first posted that rumour, did he provide any evidence, or a source, or a link, or some reason to suggest it was true?

I just found out, Hitler played that song while gassing jews, so why did the EU use it?

No, he didn't.

You will not find it in his later attachment, either.

Have any of the other people who jumped on the bandwagon?

later...

again, an unsupported claim.

The song is associated with Hitler...

and another...

...Odeo to Joy was Hitlers favorite piece of music...

So it could be untrue then John.....

If it were true, would you condem the EU? I doubt it!

If you put a level on your head would it fall off.... I wonder
