“As a Government we’re preparing, at our borders and at our ports, to be ready for it.”

He said the UK would have “full control” over laws, rules, fishing waters

Yeah UK could fish its own waters....but UK has already confirmed all those quotas it flogged will remain in place

A parliamentary report published today has found that some 75 per cent of fish caught in the UK is exported, mostly to the European Union, while the majority of fish eaten in the UK is imported.

So the UK can catch fish but it wont have any customers.

A defiant Boris Johnson today said “I will not back down"

Yeah what did Johnson do last October.....oh thats right, he caved in and accepted an EU deal even the weak May refused.

It all comes back to the same thing: the EU is the UKs biggest trade partner, we handed them back control in Jan and they are 5x bigger

in other words, we need them more than they need us

Simples

Bye Bye fish

The eec/eu was originally set up as a trading arrangement.
We sell them stuff, they sell us stuff.

Then it morphed into....."you can sell us stuff but you must comply with what we say".
That is the work of a greedy cartel.
The work of gangsters boyo. And is doomed to failure.
Cling to their coat tails if you must.
