Why is this government are so keen to allow "24 hours Casinos" all over the UK ?

I would've thought this will lead to more problem such as marriage problem such as wife/husband beater ?, children suffering, losing your property, gambling addict, drinking problem, higher crime rate to fund the gambling and so on.......

The only benefit are the government which will collect million in taxes.

Am I right or wrong ?

I think Gordon Brown vetoed this, more to do with his Scottish son of the manse distaste for it than on economic policy grounds though. Surprised our “the market is always right government” hasn't brought it back in.
