Labours admission is the only "counter" I need.
Where does it say whether these people are Eastern European or indeed foreign? Are you aware there are British muslims in prison? WTF?
British taxpayers are already paying more than £90million a year to fund Eastern Europeans currently in jail, at a rate of £38,000 per prisoner
They clog up the prison system costing UK millions. Then we let them out...

How do you know that the sun doesn't shine there?I guess my knowledge isn't as common as yours. Its common knowledge for those in the real world.
Not when you keep your head stuck where the sun don't shine.
was refuted. They clog up the prison system costing UK millions. Then we let them out...
which was also refuted.
The link clearly states:1.6 Nationality, ethnicity and religion
Foreign national prisoners
The proportion of foreign national prisoners in the prison population increased steadily over the decade from 1997. In the early/mid 1990s foreign prisoners accounted for 8% of the total prison population increasing to approximately 14% by June 2006.
ONS
in the introduction. I provided the source which you omitted. The prison population in England and Wales, including those held in Immigration Removal Centres, http://www.google.co.uk/url?url=http://www.parliament.uk/briefing-papers/sn04334.pdf&rct=j&frm=1&q=&esrc=s&sa=U&ei=ZrPQVKC1AsXB7ga8-4H4Dw&ved=0CBkQFjAA&usg=AFQjCNFx50YIstujhbIyZv2piPUePEuK3A
Is this your justification for your claim that "They clog up the prison system costing UK millions. Then we let them out.."Since then the proportion of foreign nationals in prisons has fallen slightly to 13% by June 2011, remaining at that level since then.
I'm not sure where you're going or what you're trying to demonstrate here, handyjack
Your first comment:
was refuted. They clog up the prison system costing UK millions. Then we let them out...
So you tried to demonstrate the religious beliefs of prisoners with no cross reference to ethnic origin.
which was also refuted.
Now you try to suggest that the majority of prisoners are of foreign origin with your comment :

What about the 86% - 92% of indigenous prisoners?
Do they not clog up the prison system?
What should the UK do, or where should the UK keep their foreign undesirables, pending the deportation?
Doesn't really specify any places of origin. All that says to me is that pound for pound Muslims are more likely to be crooks than Christians.

Doesn't it just demonstrate that no one group of people seems to have a monopoly on virtue or crime?

There's 180 million disaffected radicalised rageheads in the world today. Seems to me they have quite a monopoly.

That's a pc way of interpreting the figures. More clearly, it says that one group is more likely to be virtuous and the other more criminal.
