If you hold the view that man does contribute to climate change but don't care about the amount or doing anything about it, or care for any of the policy responses, then yes it is irrelevant. If you are in this camp, we probably have a reasonable amount in common.
So now you are agreeing man is affecting climate change. By a tiny tiny amount, or more? How do you quantiy the amount?

However, anybody who subscribes to the emergency narrative and supports more and more punitive action on the citizenry of this country, is clearly a hypocrit if they are failing to make the personal sacrifices that would be congruent with their stated beliefs.
I have not told you how I live my life, you can make any assumptions you want. It is irrelevant.

I would like to see some research about the correlation between alarmist beliefs and mental illness.

Exactly. He moans about being picked on but it is his posts that break the rules and get posts locked.
I don’t moan? That will be Roy or whoever he’s called now.

I broke no rules in the last locked thread, unless you can prove me wrong ? But you can’t. Waffle won’t count.

There is a whole world of scientific research and modelling out there if you care to look. By your argument we can know nothing of the times before humans existed. That is just demonstrably wrong.

Modelling isn't knowing is it?

Also, yes, of course we can learn about the past. We have the geological record, ice cores, and so on. I didn't ever suggest that we cannot understand the past.

What I have said is, we cannot know how the climate would look now if humans had never existed. Do you understand?

We can speculate, but that is all. And if all we are doing in speculating and lack certainty, we ought to exercise caution when it comes to rushing into bold and very expensive policy responses. This is all I am saying. It is a perfectly moderate point of view.

It isn't irrelevant. It is indicative of your integrity as a person.

If you're going to spout on about man made global warming, which you presumably care enough about to keep posting on here about it, why would you not adjust your habits to help address the problem? A problem you believe exists and which you believe that you are yourself contributing to?

The word hypocrit springs to mind...
Old Denso is the same with covid vaccines extolling how good they are whilst refusing boosters and claiming not to remember how many jabs he had or even when he had them

and you know this because ? what insights do you have
Because he breaks the rules then blames others who have no power to intervene. He needs to take the consequences for his own actions.

Have a look at his moans...

What rule/s have I broke ?

Please be clear

Conspiracy theories aren't necessarily alarmist though.

Also, some would argue that climate alarmism is worse than the average conspiracy theory. Think about it:

Posits that emissions of a harmless gas will cause the world to boil... but if we do more, like handing more money and control over to politicians, that climate change will be altered...

I've heard far less extreme conspiracy theories than that.
