What's that got to do with anything. Apart from the fact that a copper criticising police action should obviously be taken more seriously than some.

He's one of them pretending to be one of us. ;)

But you were a copper eh?

Not at the time of Hillsborough no, I have never policed in crowd control and have never policed a sporting event. Fully trained to do so though....and I am no longer in the force.

But I dont see what that has to do with anything really?

What happened there snico, did you fall off your bike?

I had the opportunity to go into a career that I really wanted to, hard decision but the right one in the end, financially and career wise.

Cant remember the last time I ridden a bike

Oh sorry, I thought you were a traffic cop on a bike.
Great tribute tonight at goodison.

I was, but I used 4 wheels.....never get me on one of those bikes!

and yeah, Everton did themselves proud tonight, massive respect to them!

There are plenty of vids about Hillsborough which show how things went wrong. Take a look.

Yes I know that but it is irrelevant to the thread. Look at the ACTUAL EVENT as it unfolded.

I was in Liverpool the afternoon of the disaster, with a large group of people pursuing our own hobby. News of the unfolding tragedy came in. One of my colleagues, the same age as my Dad, had a son there at Hillsborough. We knew not whether he was alive or dead.

One evening the next week, I took one of our sons to Anfield. The atmosphere of quiet, restrained dignity throughout the ground is something I shall never forget. It was the only time I ever went there.
