Can we assume that you’ve never changed your mind then? I don’t see what the problem is - he said something, found out it’s not popular by the majority of people, he works for the people, he changed his mind. Would you prefer it if politicians just forged ahead with something that doesn’t work?
That's not true, most low traffic measures are liked by people. As the image said there's clear evidence those schemes work and are popular.
A small subset of the population, mostly those who vote conservative, are furious at some of those measures. That's not the same as most of the country.
