CRV 07 MK3 MOT failed - Antiroll bar linkage or bush excessively worn rear ( Both rear D Bushes)

People are keeping their cars longer for several reasons. As a result, garages are busy. Brother needed a simple/quick job doing recently - new starter motor. Had to wait over 3 weeks for his garage to have time. Not surprised labour rates are increasing.

Same for me. If wanted job done by them had to wait more than a week and £200

I’m still wondering if you had any knocking noises coming from the rear end before you submitted your CR-V for the MoT test. Failed drop links and /or knackered ARB bushes usually present themselves as a clonking noise when driving over rough and uneven roads (across most of the UK these days).

No noise. Only vibration when car doing 60mph but disappears when going higher or slower.

Vibration still there so nothing to do with the bushes.

Wheel balancing? Vibration from an unbalaced wheel comes on at a certain speed and you can drive through it. A bit like a washing machine on a spin cycle.

We once had one where the vibration was worse under acceleration. It was an inboard CV joint on one of the driveshafts.

Got those balanced and checked. No change
