In my neighbourhood there are still old school buildings with clearly defined separate entrances for girls & for boys.
Read up on your recent history chap & maybe you can answer the question "When did our UK edyukashion system begin to integrate the sexes then?"
No different to the old Grammar school system back in the 60's ( Lewes, East Sussex )

It's interesting how the local council tried to defend the system, yet if these had been single sex schools, there would have been no issue. You can send your child to a single sex school, and expect there to be no children of the opposite sex there, but I wonder how many of the parents sending their children to these "supposed" mixed sex schools, knew about the segregation, and were happy to go along with it.
I can see the reason that the Islamic schools do it, but I'm suprised on the Jewish and Christan schools - unless the Jewish school was Hassidic (ultra orthodox) of course.

There is also the flawed tenet, with which I do not agree, that other people's religious beliefs shall be respected.
Interestingly it is that threat which has riled hard right orthodox jews like Ben Shapiro into action because they also think the state is so alarmingly into peoples business it's gone past a joke. He argues that the government has no business legislating over things like this, he's also hot on the recent gender identity argument, the recent bizzare notion that you can claim to be any sexual identity you like despite it not having any biological basis. He's very common sensical, and he gets a lot of press coverage in the mainstream as well as the alernative media. I agree with him politically on a lot of things, this topic especially.

Let's be specific Hawkeye if that's okay. Do you feel it's okay to segregate the kids in a mixed sex school.
My uneducated opinion would be yes. But that's on the basis that I believe it's the schools decision how they want to run it. I read somewhere once that boys generally do better academically without having girls in their classes, which makes sense to me as they are goddamm distracting haha.
