I have a feeling that this hot weather doesn't suit some people
I have a feeling that a galaxy is a mini universe in its own right, so when some scientists believe that every galaxy has a black hole, then here is your clue that may be it is the black hole which gives each galaxy a birth, when it swallows all planets and stars in its own galaxy, it becomes so bottled up, and stops just short of exploding outwards, until another planet or a star reaches its territory from another galaxy and when it swallows this star, this tips the balance (or exceeds the bottled up threshold) and the whole thing explodes once again into another new galaxy and life starts once again.
Hence galaxies may be drifting randomly or in a defined path, and as we already know giant galaxies can swallow smaller galaxies and become even bigger galaxies.
So perhaps Universe was never born, rather each galaxy as a small universe in its own right existed for a time then got annihilated by its own black hole and then born again and the cycle of mini universes being born and annihilated continues, and has always done so and not just for the last 13.8 Billions of years ago, perhaps for ever. So only each galaxy has a beginning and an ending.
And for religious people there may be more than one God who resides in each galaxy in the middle of this black hole, hence that explains why we have so many different religions, as some prophets may have come from different galaxies to preach various religions.
Something to ponder about!

I think this is quite a feasible theory. Except for the 'god' bit at the end!

It's can't be called a theory, it's not based on anything, as I say it's not a totally ridiculous guess. But that's all it is a guess, based on zippo evidence.
Scientist already believe that as we speak many galaxies are being formed and destroyed in a continuous process of creation and destruction.

You're thinking of a hypothesis. It's can't be called a theory, it's not based on anything, as I say it's not a totally ridiculous guess. But that's all it is a guess, based on zippo evidence.
I was understood that one formulated a theory and then sought evidence to support or prove it.
, so black holes are something we don't fully understand yet, but there must come for a black hole to burst into an almighty bang! when it cannot contain and keep the matter confined within its clutches, even though it may continue to suck and annihilate things, that may come under its influence, (event horizon)
then when its core cannot tolerate any further pressure (intense gravity) and it then suddenly bursts in an almighty explosion, (Big bang) giving rise to the creation of a new galaxy, (mini universe) once more, and all that bottled up energy is released in this explosion, and this released energy once more starts to form gasses clumping together and starts to form matter, which gives rise to new stars and planets, as they once were, and the whole cycle begins again.
In the process, a new black hole is formed and this process of annihilation starts again all over, starts swallowing bodies again one by one, over billions of years, the only difference being that each galaxy is a mini universe in its own right rather than the whole universe as we know with billions of galaxies.
Professor Lawrence Krauss has videos floating about on how a universe was created from nothing and how the same 'nothing' can be contained within our smallest particles.

Of course. Current thinking (theory!) is that each atom is almost entirely nothing at all. A tiny nucleus surrounded by even tinier electrons with absolutely nothing in between.
Thats correct- its what allows X rays, microwaves etc to pass through seemingly solid objects, as they wavelength of the "ray" or wave is so small they dont hit anything on the way through.
