Double socket in narrow wall

I have seen double sockets in walls a lot narrower than yours, it will be fine.
That was also my first impression, and I don't really understand what the perceived problem is. This is one in my house, in the 'end' of a protruding wall, which is only 26 cm wide (11 cm narrower than the OP's wall):

If there really were a problem with available wall width then, as has been suggested, the obvious solution would be two singles, either in single boxes or a dual one (if it had 4 lugs per socket).

Kind Regards, John

I prefer cables in oval conduit when plastered into a wall, though it is not obligatory
