Airports queues are not manned by the foreign staff from the countries that people are travelling to. The booths at Dover are manned by the French.
You mean the booths that are too few? Because UK chose not to build more?

Mottie is trying very hard to divert attention from the Brexit CatastroflickSo, you do't think someone in a port booth will need training and checking out for the couple of extra days a year they’ll need them for? Where did you say they would get them from again? Oh, no, you didn’t, did you.

Sadly he convinces no-one
Where do they get the occasional staff from to man them at busy times? Job centre? Facebook? Pick them up from outside B&Q like builders do?
The arrival ones are, which is the equivalent of the Dover booths. Although that's not a great example for your case as we now get slower processing by air too.Airports queues are not manned by the foreign staff from the countries that people are travelling to. Do you not think they did that already? It's standard shift pattern planning. No leave is approved and overtime is available for those who want it. Plus other staff who are trained but do other jobs can backfill.
No, it isn’t. The arrival border force booths at airports are in their own country which is to polar opposite to the French border force booths in the Dover. There are no booths at arrivals at ports - you drive off the ferry/train and away you go.The arrival ones are, which is the equivalent of the Dover booths.
I do think they do that. I'm explaining it to Mottie who seemed to be having a senior moment.Do you not think they did that already?
Dover is a special case where the arrival posts are in the departure country. Did you not know this? Are you really Dominic Raab? No, it isn’t. The arrival border force ones are in their own country which is to polar opposite to the French border force in the Dover booths.
Aaaaand…swerved again. I hope your hundred trips a year to London have less swerves in them than your lying posts on here.Try to be happy. Tell yourself that you WON.
So you are saying it’s the French that are causing the hold ups. Glad we sorted that.Dover is a special case where the arrival posts are in the departure country. Did you not know this? Are you really Dominic Raab?
