He's sentenced to time in prison and for deportation once his sentence had been served. He's already lost his defence or are you suggesting as many defences until he wins.

This Tory government has toyed with and tried to limit the power of the courts to over-ride government decisions. A mechanism like the ECHR is needed so that the government cannot change the constitution to grant the government powers to restrict the authority of the judiciary.
