European Commission of Human Rights

But also defend the unlawful at the same time?

Of course you are. And if you are convicted you will then go to jail.

If your foreign born then you are free to roam your own land
once your sentence has been served.

If your British born
then you are free to roam your own land
once your sentence has been served.
Even criminals have Rights. Just because they're guilty of a crime you can't strip away their Human Rights, neither before trial nor afterwards.
And you're still guessing. Why not read up on the ECHR so you have an idea what you are talking about.

Or don't and keep guessing.

You mean a criminal has a right to a defence? Seriously?
Hypothetically

He's been convicted of a crime ( he's lost his defence)

He's sentenced to time in prison and for deportation once his sentence had been served. He's already lost his defence or are you suggesting as many defences until he wins.

I've heard that one before, was thst you?

Brexit pile of poo

Of course they do, they want to reduce the power of parliament and the courts to scrutinise that government decisions..
Notch 7 explained it to you. Did you not read his post?
Considering this right wing populist govt is constantly stretching its powers and reducing parliaments and the courts ability to scrutinise the executive, the British public should not and cannot trust them to erode our freedoms.

Why do you think they want a bonfire of regulations?
Why do you think the want chart cities and freeports

This government are a grave menace to the citizens of this country.

Fyodor Dostoyevsky — 'A society should be judged not by how it treats its outstanding citizens but by how it treats its criminals.'

He literally wrote the book on Crime and Punishment.

Tony Benn:

"The way a government treats refugees is very instructive because it shows you how they would treat the rest of us if they thought they could get away with it."

Windrush anybody??

Hardly needs a UCHR.
what is a UCHR?

and if a citizen is unable to obtain justice in his own country, because the government is either the guilty party, or doesn't care, or doesn't provide means?

This Tory government has toyed with and tried to limit the power of the courts to over-ride government decisions. A mechanism like the ECHR is needed so that the government cannot change the constitution to grant the government powers to restrict the authority of the judiciary.

cross party oversight? plenty of domestic options to make it work.

The right to participate in free elections

Well there are plenty of remoaners who probably think other wise and would have been quite happy to see a free election result over turned :ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO:

Than there was the EU who decided to whinge about some countries marstricht elections / vote

Did not like or want the result(s)
