Just an update the pressure on running now seems to be very stable, only rising by 0.2-0.3 bar from cold to hot. I haven't run the system in anger yet though its not been cold enough, boiler temperature only set to setting 2 on the dial, so I imagine if the water is hotter I'll get more of a climb.
I am however noticing a very slight fall in the cold pressure over the last 2 days. Its not much, but I filled the system to 1 bar and its now ever so slightly below 1 bar when cold. I will keep an eye on this for a week or two and see if I am getting a sustained pressure loss. There appears to be no leaks from anywhere visible to me.
