Farage is interfering in foreign politics

You see a parallel with the party of government?

If Trump wins. The U.K. government will have a lot of unnecessary sucking up to do.

All "democratic" governments around the world should be interfering in US politics. Whoever governs america affects and influences the whole world. An awful lot of the retoric coming from the orange idiot's gob is inflamitory towards a lot of governments including our own bad as that is. Of course there are a lot of idiots in america who will vote for the orange idiot just like there are a lot of idiots on this forum and in this country who will support him

theres no equivalence of Labour staffers with a political leader

nonsense

Starmer had a 2 hour meeting with Trump just a few weeks back
He's a personal friend of Trump.

and Starmer's meeting was prior to his party going behind his back on the Harris campaign.

"Friend", I very much doubt.

I would bet good money that neither would trust the other as far as they could throw them.

Labour-supporting volunteers have done this for decades, and will likely do so in the future as well.

Who were caught and Trump protested. If he wins its going to be problem, that was easily avoided.

In life, business politics etc, you should avoid making enemies with people who may have power, unless you are confident of a win. You've got to stand back from your hatred of Trump and realise that the party of government should be careful how it behaves. The same applies to current government ministers tweeting trash talk about him.

If Trump wins, the UK government, regardless of party, will have to deal with his promised tariffs of 10-20% on our exports to the USA. I honestly cannot understand why any Brit thinks that a Trump win will be good for us.

What did he do for us last time around? He hit us with tariffs on our steel and aluminium. He phoned our PM to say that Putin was not responsible for the Salisbury poisonings. He didn't want to see sanctions imposed upon Russia. Fortunately, our "friends" in Congress ignored Trump.

I am no fan of either Biden or Harris, but within days of taking power, Biden signed away Trump's tariffs. Harris won't intentionally make our country any better, but unlike Trump, she is unlikely to intentionally harm us.

I'm not cheerleading for Trump. I think the markets are forecasting a Harris win and recent fall and position taking is because its too close to call.

What I will say about Trump, he is the classic C-level psycho - very good at making everyone try to please him. Even China danced when he called.
