since he cost the boss her job and the group £850m he was a dead man walking (career wise).

and still the hard of thinking on here think Nige was the loser and Coutts did no wrong.
Beyond me why they get so worked up about Farage.

The information on which we based our reporting on Nigel Farage and his bank accounts came from a trusted and senior source. However the information turned out to be incomplete and inaccurate. Therefore I would like to apologise to Mr Farage.

Read the Privacy Notice, this is their legal obligation to clients it's also a requirement to have such a policy under the DPA. Read sec 7. in particular.
Where do they obtain the right to share this information with the press?
Did they comply with the obligation to keep his data confidential and private?

That's a requirement:

Now lets look at the limitation of liability (noting that it would be unlawful to exclude the above anyway).

Does it protect them? No it doesn't

in fact it specifically reassures the reader that they are liable for breaches caused by them.

When someone breaks a contract, without lawful authority and has not been able to legally exclude the liability for such breach, do you think :
A there is an exposure to a damages claim.
B there is no exposure to a damages claim because he's a brexer.

if you need a hint, its not B.

Now lets look at damages: has he suffered harm or loss as a result of a breach of contract, tortious act, or other legal wrong

He's extremely influential.

Arguably it was fear of his influence that led David Cameron to go to the polls on the EU in the first place.

How much do you the three pillars of the ESG have played in all this?
There you go again. They played no role, unless you can show different? Like EV fires you just drop in words which mean absolutely nothing.

And much more arguably it was Cameron's lack of fear of the grumbling backwoodsmen on the fringes of the Tory party that led him to call a referendum that he thought would silence them forever.

Only asked the question, your the one with the certainty saying they didn't.
Reading comments in the msm some are saying " go woke go broke"

He strikes me he's had enough of throwing his hat in the ring again.
He's already got the legacy of being one of the most influential politicians of this country.
Maybe if those at Coutts had a brain cell between them they could have worked that out instead of being so vindictive.

All I'm doing is asking the question your the one getting your knickers in a twist.
Not something one does if they believe what they believe to be true.
Perhaps your not as sure as you make out.
