Think of a vegetable you like and cook it. Any veg you like will go with any fish.

You don't 'NEED' to start eating fish. If you 'WANT' to eat it fine but nobody NEEDS to eat fish.

AsDIYDANDY states, just eat veg that you like, it will go with the fish.

I like stuffed and seasoned trout cooked in wet newspaper. Put in and oven at a suitable temp. and when the paper is dry the fish is cooked.

Most fish have bones so need to be filleted. Or removing the bones from a fish before cooking them is the fun part.

In time you will become an expert bone remover just like any good DIY'er.

I know that spring onion is supposed to be good with fish ( though I've never had it cooked before.. )..

ALRIGHT ALRIGHT... so you like fish big-all, you don't need to repeat it! :D

i like to stand in a river in just my underpants, and grab salmon as they swim past, and bite huge chunks out of them!!!!

but seriously... tinned mackeral or sardines with a plate full of salad is good..

or a battered cod with a plateful of salad (potatos fried as chips... and a tin of mushy peas ;o)

Try rice and peas/carrots with the fish chopped up and the whole steamed.
or
there's a Scotish recepie that involves "frying" red mullet whole in salt and oats, but no oil or fat. The bones are tiny and soft and nothing really to worry about. Similiary sprats are tasty fried whole.I've tried the trout in newspaper too , beautiful :) rivals salmon any day
however,
if you really don't like the bones one to steer well clear of is skate it's more bone than meat
or
stick to canned tuna , fish paste or crabsticks :D

Or say, "Sod it, you only live once", and have a bloody good english fry up!

Sausage, bacon, eggs, black pudding, fried bread, tomatoes, mushrooms 4 rounds of toast and a big mug of tea with full milk and plenty of sugar! (At least you'll die happy!)
