I see she has made a statement:

Last night, Naga apologised and in a tweet she said: “I 'liked' tweets today that were offensive in nature about the use of the British flag as a backdrop in a government interview this morning.

“I have since removed these 'likes'.This does not represent the views of me or the BBC.

"I apologise for any offence taken."

I guess it's obvious her underlying feelings here. Of course it represents her feelings or she wouldn't have liked all of them. There are many out there who have displayed similar 'anti' behaviour which have resulted in instant contract termination.

Non of it is any surprise to me, just a confirmation of the lefty biased, British hating, multi-cultural, London-istan political gob piece that they are.

What galls me is; i'm pretty much forced to fund this alien organisation through the licence fee - and as a white middle aged working class male from the north, the beeb have nothing whatsoever in common with me. Pity they couldn't pish off and broadcast somewher in the EU where they would be much more at home.

A flag is no indicator of patriotism or decency.

Paul Golding, for example, the fascist leader, is fond of a Union Jack.

So was Hitlerist Oswald Mosley.

they were clearly sneary about being proud of our country, they were without doubt expressing bias - how can they possibly represent a corporation that claims to be uber neutral.

Of course everyone is allowed their own personal views and I am not remotely upset if someone hates our country - but they are paid an absolute fortune to represent the BBC, a corporation that tells us they are neutral.

They need to be sacked and the BBC needs to drop the 'British' bit from their name and become a stand-alone independent company. I should not be forced to fund them.

Looks like this argument is gathering some pace. Couple of BBC 'wokists' sneered at Jenrick having a Union flag and picture of the queen behind him.

'UK hating wokists' and want the pair sacked.

The joke, which backfired simply because it was not very well said, was about the size of the flag. It was what most people call bants. Nobody criticised the fact that he had a flag, just that it was a very big flag in what looked like his living room. Naga found the comment funny, not because she hates Britain, or because she hates the flag, or the Queen, but because, you know, a bit of bants, taking the micky out of somebody for having a big flag.

What is wrong with people today, can't take a joke, think everybody must be totally serious all the time? Why?

You are no more proud of this great country than I am. Just because you have this faux affection for the Union Jack or flag of St George, does not automatically abdicate you of all other practical patriotic responsibilities.
